Most of you using Google Chrome probably noticed an issue with Gmail in Chrome: The little loading circle on the Gmail tab never stops spinning! This issue have been discussed here and reported here.
This irritates the hell out of me and but is seems nothing can be done to fix it, except for waiting for Google to fix it. I finally got the good news today:
So if this irritates you as well, updating to Chrome 14 should now solve the issue. I'm just letting all the finicky guys like myself know - I can't stand stupid little bugs like this!

Chrome 14.0.811.0 and later should have the fix. Going back as far as Chrome 10, I can still duplicate the issue, so I suspect it's due to a Gmail change as well as a Chrome/WebKit bug.
This issue does not seem significant enough to backport the fix to Chrome 13, as it only affects the spinner, and Chrome 14 will be coming out next month, anyways.
If anyone using a later version of Chrome than 14.0.811.0 still has the problem, please do report it.
