Table View, Cape Town. There are so many offers and such variations in prices for what all seems (to me) to be the same thing. I understand that you get what you pay for, but how do I know what to look for? Also apparently some are accessible from anywhere in the world and others only at the installed address. Can anyone put things into layman's language for me to help me make an informed decision please? Also do not understand static/dynamic/public IP.

I am looking for uncapped, preferably unshaped, wifi. I currently use mobile data with a Huawei 3G/4G router B593. Suggestions on providers would also be appreciated.

Thanks

-For wisps go here http://www.wapa.org.za/coverage/request/ and see what wisps you have in your area. They are ok but ADSL is better and cheaper but may not be available. DO NOT USE AMOBIA!!!!!
-For ADSL go here http://www2.telkom.co.za/checkadsl/check.htm and see if/what you can get.
-You can get uncapped LTE here http://www.telkom.co.za/today/unlimited-broadband/ if you are in the area its really fast but you can only download 50 gigs of p2p (torrents).

Axxess and Afrihost have pretty good deals on 3g data https://www.axxess.co.za/mobile-data and here https://www.afrihost.com/site/product/mobile_data?src=website_nav
