I began uploading my pics now. It's a pretty arduous process but worth it.

Think this is a great move by Mayer, Google (Picasa) must have taken notice of this. I've never used online photo/storage sharing but have signed up with Flickr after this announcement.

Will use it as additional backup for my pics, over and above Crashplan.
