Flight Simulator 2020

Is this ever coming to Xbox X/S? Not in the mood to build a pc. Or in the mood to fund the damned pc either

To anyone who's downloaded a non-legit copy of this game check if the following folder exists on your PC
C:\Users\{{username}}\AppData\Roaming\Unpacker

If it does you are probably doing some cryptocurreny mining for someone elses benefit.
My PC runs better without this running in the background..lol.

This applies also for some other games, like Borderlands3.

New Flight Simulator 2020 Update is 5.5gb's. What's the deal with the slow download speed?

How is the flight model in terms of realism? P3D level or more arcadey?
I'd put it a notch or 2 above P3D.

There's also a TON of community work. I'm spending almost all my time in the Airbus A320 which has a flybywire mod- they even include wear and tear and scratch marks in the cockpit where you'd typically expect it to be.

The weather is the most impressive part of the sim. Live weather which mimics the actual weather outside.

Here's a vid from an actual A320 pilot going over the release back in April:

And so we've finally got a release date for Xbox X|S on GamePass.

I look forward to testing it out!
Looks good. I have it on PC and often think it would be nice to play on the couch with the big screen. On PC I use the xbox controller and it handles really well actually.

I just hope it looks decent on the Series S. I don't have/need 4k but a decent 1080p on the Series S will be great. Considering this game doesn't need much more than 30FPS to feel smooth it should be possible. Mind you it moers my PC.

Ja, I don't have any PC gear to really come close to running it decently and don't wanna fork the cash out for it either.
Because that's all the PC would be for really. And I game casually - though I could see MSFS2020 taking up a lot more of my time.

But being on GamePass will be a cool way for me to try it out on console and that's all I'd want to do for now.

Means I have to get an S now, but have always been looking to anyway. The kid can stick to the Xbox One.
The S is a red zone for anyone else - I don't share very well :p

And I don't need the 4K res either really.
Pleased to hear that the Xbox Controller is treating you well.

I'll see how it goes initially and if I feel the need for anymore peripherals, I'll add on later.

If you already have an xbox: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/wireless-display/9nblggh3zw34?ranMID=24542&ranEAID=nOD/rLJHOac&ranSiteID=nOD_rLJHOac-KHXi35ITdDxDunbHNILb4g&epi=nOD_rLJHOac-KHXi35ITdDxDunbHNILb4g&irgwc=1&OCID=AID2000142_aff_7593_1243925&tduid=(ir__hz63ktttt0kfqmqkkk0sohz3132xurwq9lmyyvkp00)(7593)(1243925)(nOD_rLJHOac-KHXi35ITdDxDunbHNILb4g)()&irclickid=_hz63ktttt0kfqmqkkk0sohz3132xurwq9lmyyvkp00&activetab=pivot:overviewtab
You can stream your PC desktop to the Xbox, controller only though.

Else you can use Steam link for an Android/Apple TV box, Raspberry pi, old Windows PC, etc.

Have used it for couch casting a couple of times, PC was upstairs and streamed to TV that had an old laptop plugged in, some Sparkfoxes connected to the laptop (as they're pretty good for the price, and USB dongle seems to handle better than the MS bluetooth).

Have also played Killing Floor 2 streaming from laptop (ethernet) to another laptop in another room via WiFi in my house, experience was smooth, but had good wireless infrastructure.

Thanks, I did actually try this.
It did not look lekker at all. I set my PC to matching resolution and for some reason, the TV was very artifacty and looked terrible. Like think of a HQ video after sharing over WhatsApp.

Nice I would love to try it on the latest gen console, but I still only have my 1st edition PS4.

It runs pretty fine on my gaming pc even though I'm only sporting a GTX 960. (Time for upgrade I know).

But did order a Thrustmaster TCA Airbus A320 edition joystick. 1st time I've had a joystick since they stopped selling them with parallel port connectors.

In stop motion? :p

I tried it on a gtx1060 and the performance was poor, granted the 4core cpu was more likely the weakest link.
