My Baleno comes with 185/55r16 tyres. I hit a pothole last night and lost one. No stock in the country of these Bridgestones that came with the vehicle new. They will check for me on Monday if they can get a suitable alternate. Why the heck do these companies sell new cars not set up a supply chain? The things the sales people don't tell you...

Are you saying that you can't find Bridgestone 185/65/R16 tyres or that you can't find any 185/65/R16 tyres?

Trying to find a reasonably priced 225/45/r19 for my Opel is also a mission at times.

what? lol. I've had Yokohama, Dunlop and the rubbish they call Michelin (2 of them literally came apart with pieces of rubber falling off after 10k km on Pilot Primacy) and nothing grips or lasts like Bridgestone. They're amazing tyres. I'm generally not fussy, but Bridgestone grip well, and the others are good too. I just will never touch Michelin again.

You sure it was not fakes?
Been driving Michelin for the last 20 years and never heard about the Pilot Primacy range.
albeit, I only asked for Primacy's all this time since I moved from the MXV2 in 14" size.
Primacy HP's was the best of the lot.

Biscuit.
Going to fix that at the same time. Put two new tyres on and keep the old as a spare. It's only got 3k on the clock.
Was thinking the same. Does the car have steel wheels or alloys, because if the former, your other option is to go for 15" alloys and a higher profile (and possibly more mainstream and thus less expensive) tyre. Added advantage is it will be more "pothole friendly" if you get what I mean.

So far no 185/65/R16 but I may be able to get on Monday says the salesman.
No Bridgestone in the country.
According to Suzuki spec sheet.
It's 185/55/R16.
Would hate for you to go through all the trouble sourcing a Tyre and then it's the wrong size.
