Floaters, anyone else got them?

I'm severely myopic (genetic - lots of blindness in my family) and had them all my life. I'm so used to them I don't even notice them anymore

Damn it man!! Only notice them when I'm being reminded they exist!!! Thanks OP!!

Ah, Eye worms.... In Sicily the peasants used to get them by eating raw pork and then rubbing their eyes.
Once the worms get inside your eyeball, it's just a matter of days before they eat their way into your brain.

Then you 5hit yourself and die in a most embarrassing way.

lots, and some have clumped together to form larger spots, my right eye seems to have more, pity there isnt a solution for it besides getting your eyes liquid replaced with Saline and thats only in severe situations.

I used to (and sometimes still do) play with them as a kid, by rapidly moving my eyeballs around to make the floaters "dance". I realize now how crazy it must have looked to anyone that saw me doing it.

I have a big one in my left eye that looks like a sperm. No, no one ejaculated on my face :wtf:

So we're not talking about these floaters, then?

If you do have floaters, and you happen to be a diabetic... please make sure you have your eyes checked by an optometrist at least once a year. Floaters can be very dangerous if you do not know what the cause of the problem is.

I know this, because I work in Optometry and have seen many people almost loose their sight because of something that simply started with floaters
