FNB adds Apple Pay support

Apple Tax delayed the implementation.
If you want to grab a certain clientele, then you need to cater to them. FNB is an innovative bank and new technologies are part of being innovative. If that is your branding, then I expect cutting-edge features from you.

No, first it was “Apple pay is untested garbage” thats why FNB doesnt have it then it changed to the fees for Apple Pay where too high for FNB.

Been trying to to use the android pay options with the FNB app, but most paypoint do not accept it.

The irony is that the FNB branded VeriFone machines never work.

gets you one step closer to living in the future.

No need to carry a wallet.

Example. I scan my Woolies card that is loaded on my phone and pay with my watch. No need for any cards.
You're lucky - I have to drive to our nearest woolies.

It's a convenience thing more than anything else. I've been using it for years now and I still carry a wallet.

I agree.
I didn't understand the furore about having / not having it as I also see it as a convenience.

I've been lucky so far. Been on Samsung Pay since Oct 2019 and Apple Pay since April this year and never had an issue with it.

Is that suppose to be a winning argument for them? Because it isn't.

Glad I have never supported them.
Im so confused why are you commenting on an article about them? Rent-free up in that head sir
