FNB gets Apple Pay

FNB now supports Apple Pay, allowing the bank’s customers to add their cards to the Apple Wallet and make purchases by tapping their smartphone or smartwatch to a contactless payment point.

MyBroadband forum members and Twitter users on Tuesday posted that they were able to add their cards to Apple Pay following an update to the FNB banking app.

FNB sure took their sweet time.

Anyone else link a card successfully yet? I just get an error "System currently unavailable" when trying to verify it.

Yup. Through the Wallet app 'tho.

Try adding it by using the Wallet App rather. And select the SMS for verification method. I had the same problem.

Added my FNB virtual to my iPad, worked fine.
My phone is Samsung so been using Samsung pay for years now.. don't see myself using an iPad to tap a terminal though (tell me you're a knob without telling me you're a knob)

Added a virtual card successfully without any issues. will test it out tomorrow
