Hi All :)

I am debating getting a tablet, as I am on level 4 and would really like to go up a level.

I was reading through the rules to make sure that I will be able to get up to level 5 by adhering to the "spend R150 or more on FNB connect" so I would likely get the R129 tablet, and then just spend an extra R21 on airtime each month.
First of all - would this work?

Then I was reading through the T's an C's, and I saw this:
"eBucks will not be earned on any device premiums linked to your contract(s)."
by 'device premiums' do they mean insurance etc? or is that the device contracts?

Thanks :)

It has to be FNB connect only. Device doesn't count. Also don't think it's for all account types as I don't see that option on my account (private client).

You would have to spend R150 on airtime/data outside of the contract to move up a level.

You could always switch to Islamic cheque for that extra level if you haven't already.

Anyway, there is a whole thread for ebucks.

I have a credit card, so that wont work for now.
I think I will just have to go the overdraft route, tfer the money into my savings pocket and then back again the next day

Hello

You can have a credit card on the Islamic account

I currently stay on level 5 by doing the following:

- Islamic Premier Cheque acc.
- Credit card
- Bundled Pricing [R199 per month for cheque, credit card with a secondary card, and ebucks linkage] ~ fee waived if you keep R50K in your account throughout the month]
- Saving pocket
- Islamic Term Deposit
- Use credit card for all swipes.
- Only withdraw using cash @ till [cheque card]
