So I get this SMS but there is no info on th website.

I’m currently on the talk max plan with unlimited calls.

Any ideas?

FNB customers got bonus bundles allocated every month. Those are being taken away.

That is referring to the free allocation given to FNB banking clients. Your normal contract stuff shouldn't be affected

Is it like the line speed upgrades that was done for ADSL/Fibre ?
 
Just had a look at that contract. If it wasn't for the incoming call requirement I'd probably sign up (my primary / receiving number isn't with FNB).
 
No it was ebucks bonuses.

Cool thanks. Thought they were gonna scrap the unlimited call thingy and my wife would have been devastated and my pocket would have cried.

Nah they are killing it off alongside the ebucks rule changes 1 July 2020.
 
Customers who take up an FNB Connect SIM after 1 July 2020 will get up to 1GB, 30 voice minutes and 30 SMS for the first 3 months, thereafter, the free FNB Connect allocation will depend on their eBucks Reward level
That said, it's 1 July and I've not received anything.

Edit: Apparently it is scheduled to allocate on the 15th of July. Will update if anything changes.

Got allocated 1GB of data, 30 voice minutes and 30 SMSs this morning as part of the fusion gold account perks.

Interesting change: On 23:59 on 10 August all my 10 June allocated data/SMS/voice fell away but there was no re-allocation.

I called FNB Connect this morning and the Agent stated that for the next 7 days my account will be validated for "in good standing" before the allocations of the free data/SMS/voice will happen; this is estimated for 25 August.

I don't like this inconsistency with their allocation process. If this again happens in October, the SIM is going in the bin.

Is the going rate for their prepaid sims R1 per minute (or part thereof)? So if you talk for 1 minute 2 seconds you lose 2 minutes it seems, or am I mistaken?
 
Is there an FNB Connect portal that one can check one's account balance in terms of minutes, etc... e.g. if i give the sim to my old man and i want to check the balance remotely?

edit: just found it in the FNB App under 'Connect'.
