FNB no 5G?

Hi Forum members,

I moved from Vodacom to FNB connect in Feb 2025. I read that FNB was initially operating on Cell C infrastructure and in 2023 this infrastructure moved to MTN meaning FNB connect could then offer 5G to its user base. Does anyone know if 5G works on a Samsung S24FE with a FNB SIM card? I have tried all settings etc, no joy.

yeah, I just ported to airmobile with Afrihost, R49 a month for 2gigs and R20 airtime, works out great . The R99 one is probably better bang for buck though.
