FNB - DebiCheck debit order from FNBCC

has anyone else been getting these messages from FNB? It just tells me to accept this debit order by the 7th... doesn't say what the debit order is or how much it is etc etc etc? and this is a debit order on a credit card

Its a message in short, to make debit orders go off when your salary is incoming

I just decline it. Nadeo debit orders are a nightmare

In the case of Standard Bank, I can access DebiCheck requests from the mobile app and it explains in detail what it's for, when it will go off and the amount..

Perhaps somewhere in the FNB app or through internet banking you will have the same option..

+1 it's so annoying for the very fact that I have no idea what it's for yet they keep pushing it. I still have two accounts - regular aspire and a credit & at the end of each month I manually settle my credit account, so I thought this was to set up an auto-debit feature to debit my aspire account for the amount required in my credit card account.

But alas - those dumbbumbs at fnb can't be bothered to give any info so I've just dismissed it every time.

yup same as me, I got hold of FNB today and asked them to look from their side, they said we can't tell what it is or access that but we suggest you just decline it...

lol, I am betting it's just the monthly debit order for the actual credit card and credit facility. I have a hobo account so that comes off each month on the 19th, R21 + R34. Now this new debicheck thing say this unidentified debit order will go off on the 13th and the max amount that person is allowed to debit is the maximum of my credit card!

So until FNB can say, don't worry this is from us then I will just reject it all the time
