Yes because some things that require filling in details are easier via browser. Browser access offers different options to mobile login.

For example if I send an EFT. Via browser I get the option to download a proof of payment pdf afterwards, via app no such option.

It's the same reason I don't really do crypto stuff on my phone. It's too easy to click the wrong thing and inputting data feels far more reliable on my desktop. I don't mind the app for day to day stuff, but for certain things I always revert to browser.
