FNB Fusion

Is FNB Fusion worth it?
Banker wants me to move over to a Fusion account (and advises I can also keep my CC).

Proposed: Fusion + CC
VS
Current: Cheque + CC - why should I or shouldn't I move?

Any input?

Thanks!

you lose nothing by moving, while you win a slightly cheaper monthly cost and easy eB points.

So they've finally done away with the weird 30 day interest thing and trying to force it to be a credit card when it isn't? Hence now being able to keep my CC?

There is still 30-days interest free credit on swipes, but I can't for the life of me think of a rational use case for that.

actually, technically the fusion card is for all intents and purposes, still a cheque card. With the new limit, that you can't remove the overdraft facility, where as on the regular cheque card, you can set that overdraft to R0. On Fusion the smallest you can set it, is R2000 or something.

Will it cancel my current credit card If I do the fusion application/move via the app?
