FNB Graphite

do yourself a favour: get the private wealth, allot of stuff are free on that package as opposed to the graphite. cant believe i almost downgraded because i liked the graphite card.

I just find it to hard to get to level 5 on PW. The extra's benefits on PW are very nice ,I would love to do a instant eft to any bank and not have to pay extra for it.

Only upgraded from platinum to PC in the hope I get rood rate on my bond when I apply for one.

My banker said it wouldn't help. And that was the consensus on this th read too. I am on platinum, just got offered prime minus 0.6 by FNB . Bond of 1.3 mil, deposit 250k.

Appeal the rate (if not too late).
I did and after the review I got prime minus 0.9 - similar bond and deposit ratios to yours

they first offered 0.45 below prime, in principle. Then they came back with a grant of 0.25 below. We appealed this and they were having some IT issue with the rate appeal template , so it took a couple days longer and finally they came back with 0.6 below prime. So no more appeals I assume...

I have another bonded property with them, so perhaps this counted against me in some other shape or form. That bond is 2% below prime, granted in 2005.
