Shot dude, called them now and spoke to a very competant sounding person.She took my delivery details and basically said the same thing - 3-5 workings days, so lets hope for this week still!!!! :D
 
Got an sms from Digital Planet to expect delivery on Thursday, but they just delivered to me now.

Yeah, cant wait to get home and set it up. It came with a Cell C sim card, not sure why.

That's weird. Didn't you need to give them a copy of your ID? Or do you just carry those around? :P

The media functions is not an issue at all as it will come soon in one of the updates! The PS3 had constantly new media features added right through it's life cycle! The same will happen to the PS4.

Had to scramble a bit, cos I got the sms at 9am and the guy rocked up about 20 min later. Keep my id in my laptop bag, mabe not such a good idea.

Tbh, if they deliver my PS4 (when FNB one day decides I'm worthy of getting one) like that I will not accept the delivery.
I understand that it is packaged well on its own, but no extra protection when sending with a courier is a no go.
And what is with the CellC sim :)

Nothing wrong with that packaging. It's already safe inside, as long as the seals aren't broken.

When buying any device from FNB, they now send a Cell C data sim card with.

Comes with like 35mb data. Also says "Get up to 500mb free data pm"

I got a cell-c sim with my Nexus 7. Which is awesome, since my cheque account is now on ebucks rewards level 4, I get 400MB free data per month :) Which means I have no need to buy data for my tablet, that is more than I need. Soon I will be on level 5, then I will get 500MB data and free up to 4Mbit/sec uncapped ADSL account.
 
I wasnt too thrilled about the delivery because one edge of my box was smashed in, ie no 90 degree corner, but yeah i suppose we cant complain if the console works :)

Then you'll probably have to wait for the next shipment. Mine arrived without bubble wrap and stuff from Takealot too. I would just use it, and if there's an issue then return it under warranty.
