FNB Saving Pocket?

I applied for mine on the internet under sales or something.
But I just cannot figure out how to set what it is to save!

I have had it for like 6 months now and it is still on R 0.00

Id like to do this over the internet as I hate going into banks!
 
Well sadly you can't use this with a credit card, which I use to swipe for all my transactions. So adding it to my cheque account will help me diddly squat.
 
@tinuva: if you make fuel purchases via cheque card this is a useful option. I opted for max (R50 I think) as I fill up about once a month. I use that to buy gadgets/games.
 
I noticed that the saving pocket disappeared on my app.. is it gone these days? or how do i get it back? I want to start using it

I haven't deposited for months and can't seem to get info on it. Just sits on my profile and nothing has happened for a while. Does it work in conjunction with Bank My Change is or is separate?

Yeah the idea is to enable Bank My Change with it. You need to enable that, and keep a minimum level of R2000 in it, then you get 300 points towards your ebucks reward level on the cheque account. I pretty much use it for that now.
 
Well I just activated the R50 bank your change option, let's see if it has any effect on the amount I save each month.

Could you please let me know if you managed to do this online, or if you had to go in to branch?

I'd like to enable the savings pocket + bank your change, but I can't seem to find it anywhere on the online banking portal. Knowing FNB they've probably got it hidden under a different product name.

Sigh...
 
I opened the savings pocket online (it was a suggestion on one of the pages) and activated bank your change telephonically. They ask for the last six digits of any of your cards as well as the pin for that card you enter it using the touchpad of the phone), so make sure you have your card at hand while on the phone.

Would you all recommend this savings pocket for some money that I have coming in for renovations?I dont want this money in my transactional account because of temptation.

It works for your intention,can't touch it unless you transfer using app or online
 
how does one change to how much you want to save? mine is currently set to R5, but i want to change this to say R10. Where do i do this
