FNB website down?

Yes, there does seem to be a problem - it's rejecting valid login credentials:

Processing Error
An error occured while processing your request
 
I'm seeing similar. oh-oh. Sleepless night coming up.

All my cards! FNB APP! Cellphone Banking! FNUCKING NOTHING!!!

Call the CNUTS, and and I'm put on hold for 30 minutes!!!

I had to pay for my car service!!! They people thought I was trying to defraud them since I can't pay them by any means! I haven't been so embarrassed in FOREVER!
 
It all started when I wanted to turn off my auto-topup for fnb connect adsl :/
 
Why don't they use incontact to notify their customers that something is wrong? My wife was also embarrassed at the pharmacy.
 
In contact relies on their network being up. I suspect there is a bigger problem there. :(
 
All I know is that when everything wakes up, there better be the same amount of cash in my account! But I won't mind if there's more :D

Where the hell do you service your car? I've had a car since 2001 and whenever I've serviced it I get an invoice to pay. They don't hold a gun to my head and require immediate payment "or else".... geezas. Calm the **** down.

Its undertandable that some people can be upset. I don't bank with FNB but what if a FNB client filled their car's fuel tank and wanted to swipe his garage or debit card and got declined? That could have been quite a sticky situation. Just saying...... Correct me if I'm wrong?

Yup big problem. Especially if you can't go draw cash to pay either. Big reputational impact here :(
 
Dont just flame FNB. My MTN was off this afterrnoon and I cannot log in Standard bank as well. Luckily my standard bank card worked when my FNB failed and I kept the people 20minutes after closing while trying to pay :(
 
There are procedures for merchants to follow when there is a system fault.

I "paid" for a cartridge a couple of weeks ago with a card imprint and signature because their machines were offline due to a power outage.
 
There seems to be *some* improvement - Android app is now at least progressing to the initial menu, but still fails on login. -_-
