FNB

How's keeping the money in your mattress working out for you? :D

Seriously though which bank did you move to, and what's better about them?

I'm with FNB as well. Have been with ABSA and Nedbank in the past. FNB is the best for my transaction and account profile so far. I pay +/- R38 per month in bank charges with the following accounts:

  • Cheque Account;
  • Savings Account (comes packaged with the cheque account);
  • Credit card account;
  • Share account;
  • 32 day account

By mattress you mean having Standard bank and Nedbank accounts...and been below the age of 25, not paying a cent for using my account?:whistle: (ouch:whistle:)

Hows the R38 per month doing for you? I bet I can buy enough airtime with the money I save to phone space and back.I had a 32 day account too, Standard banks has way better savings accounts together with better interest .....

:D It's funny you know nothing about me and my banking needs...(Like an old man in a 67 vw vs young dude in a BMW)

LOL :D You obviously have some issues if you can't take a joke:p.

So are you gonna be less than 25 for the rest of your life? :whistle:

Can't comment on Standard Bank as I've never been with them.

Yes I drive a VW (2008 model), and I'm 28 FYI. I grew up poor and work hard for everything that I've got.

Edit:

The R38 is R21 for the credit card account and R17 for the share account. No bank charges on the others.

1!!
i can take a joke :D.... just that fnb service is rubbish...my freinds are with dem and they say it too!! lmao take it easy man

I was always under the idea that standard bank was high on costs, well its not so bad. fnb just have good marketing company and good mobile web designers hahaha!

I find it hard to believe why some people are so surprised that it costs so much to draw from other bank ATM's. All bank charges are on each banks website & that should be read beforehand.

I moved from ABSA where I was paying between R400 - R460 pm & now that I am with FNB, I pay a flat rate of R84 or R89.

Always research something before signing up.
