I've seen all those vid's of Dr Paul, sure I might not agree with everything he says, but I agree on most things, also some of those clips are taken out of context.

America should stop policing the world, they are spending themselves into oblivion by doing so.
The IRS should be abolished.
Just some of the more critical points.

No, let the countries who are neighbors to where the **** is do it.
It's in their economic best interest to have peace in their own region.

The problem there is China will be powerful enough to spread their dominance world wide like the U.S. Secondly what if the neighbours can't or won't do it and lastly what if the neighbours are countries like Iran.

IMO you can't run or hide away from your problems. You gotta meet them before they arrive on your doortep. They are going to come around eventually so rather do something on terms more favourable to yourself than on theirs.
 
But then you get blow back because your policy's §crewed the inhabitants of that country over. Imagine if you will, some country establishing military bases on US soil, would that cause outrage in the US? you bet it will, now why are people surprised when they are attacked by idiots like Al Queda?

This interventionist policy the US is following is going to cause them a lot of problems with their currency as well as negative feelings towards them from the rest of the world.
Remember, if you will that GW initially got elected based on his non-interventionist policy.

Depends. For example the U.S has bases in Germany, Japan and S.Korea. Now that may cause some local resentment but hardly anything extreme. Al Qeada attacks countries who don't have military bases in their "land"

Unfortunately both systems have their perils but IMO interventionist policies in the long run cost less in lives and currency. The last time the U.S tried isolationism they were dragged into a world war and the time before that. As bad as Al Qeada is they're not as bad as say Nazi Germany or Soviet Union. However if given free reign to run rampant through countries by following a isolationist ideology then they could very possibly build themselves up as nation states fall under their yoke
 
Lets take Iran as an example, you may remember a year or so ago that there were student riots in Iran against the government, however when it became know within Iran that the CIA was sponsoring some of the riots they immediately ceased, the reason being the students didn't want to be associated with the CIA's intervention. Now if the CIA had simply stayed out of the situation Iran could perhaps have had a different government today.

I dont think so, people all over the world hate being oppressed, just because the students are in Iran doesn't mean they are not capable of forcing regime change.

They did so for the Islamic revolution of the 1970's.

The can do so again on their own in 2008.
