I do not think Telkom tracks online activity of its clients. It only will if the SA cops get involved.

I hope you are clearing your browser history, cash and cookies on a very regular basis

If you're paranoid about your data being retrieved and wish to securely erase the contents of your Hard Disk, download DBAN and burn the iso to a cd. Boot from the CD-Rom and choose autowipe option with 1-pass. It may take a couple of hours or more, depending on the size of your disk.

I think everybody has misunderstood your question. I would think they would keep connection logs for quite a while, I guess this would include stuff like the number which was used and the client MAC address probably.

EDIT: Ahh, I see thread title is not the same as your post question. I would stand by my above answer though in regard to only connection logs (i.e. only logging when you connect/disconnect and not url logging).
