nope I look away pretending nothing happened, since I keep that part a secret, most of time I am with someone.

My mom always asks my opinion on what clothes/handbags to buy and always give her right answer same with her friends asking me stuff lol, is this normal ockie :p.

*nod* That's precisely why they're ostracised in both gay and straight communities.

I'm the same--I'd never have a relationship with a bisexual person--as you say, you can't compete with that and the idea of being with someone who has been with a woman is pretty uncomfortable.

It's all a kind of jealousy though--you want the person you're with to be as attracted to you as you are to them and if you can't be "everything" they want, you feel inadequate.

But yeah, c'est la vie.

As for the second part...erm...dunno...I hate shopping and the one or two times my mom did try something like that I told her she has got a fcking daughter..ask her! hehe...I hate shopping unless it is not clear :-)

No thanks...I would rather submit to ball torture..with a hairy bear..mmmm ja...that is a plan ermm....but ja...no...I really do not like shopping. For me it is like a quicky. In and out. If you cant find what you looking for in 5 minutes you aint never gonna find it and you should give and we should go for lunch NOW!

I really do "appreciate" a hot woman. I have found myself on many occasions thinking, damn, If I was straight, I would definitely tap that!!! But if push comes to shove so to speak, there would be no solid foundation to making it happen if you know what I mean. :D

Definitely born gay, no one in their right mind would choose to be gay for a whole lot of other reasons other than the sexual part of it (excluding experimental phases maybe).

I can ask you the same question? If you see a really hot guy, that is perfectly built, don't you feel the slightest bit of arousal?

Very big generalisation that. Feminine gay guys just stand out more, because it is obviously different that what we are used to seeing. It would be the same as someone walking in a crowd with a neon orange t-shirt. If there are 20 people who all act or appear relatively the same and 1 of them don't then that person will be noticed. Most gay guys are just run-of-the-mill normal guys that just happen to like other guys. I am like that. I am openly gay, as in don't announce it, but if someone asks then I will tell them and I go for months and months after meeting new people and getting together often before they even know I am gay.

It is also the same generalisation that goes that gay guys don't watch or enjoy playing sport or bikes or fixing the lawnmower... whatever. It just simply is not like that. I like "butch", normal straight acting guys, like I think Ockie said, I have my Sister moments but it is usually only for giving everyone a good laugh or whatever.

Guess as you point out what attracts you, same with me. Strangely enough, I am Indian but am mainly atracted to blonde blue eyed guys.

It all boils down to sexual attraction
 
I think it must be the exact reverse situation that us straight guys find ourselves in. Some straight guys will claim that they cannot tell if a guy is attractive or not. That is not entirely true but not false either. We have a built in sensor for when a guy is seriously attractive, because it throws a cave man switch off in our heads. "Must keep woman away from man".

It is the middle ground that is where we cannot exactly tell, Because that is entering into personal taste and preference. I can rate a girl on a finite scale of 1 to 100 based purely on looks. I can rate a guy on a scale of 1 to 3. Dog ugly (5% of males fall into this IMO) Inferno hot (5% again) and the other 90% is left undecided. I would imagine that it is similar for gay guys. Except the inferno hot woman is not going to steal your man if he is gay, so you can simply appreciate their beauty instead of foam at the mouth with protective jealousy.

It's really difficult to quantify "beauty" as such for something that really doesn't even factor into that line of thought.

I've never experienced a moment where I've felt, "Wow, that girl looks hot." All girls look the same to me. Granted, it's easy to tell when a girl looks ugly based on the usual concepts of what constitutes "ugly" such as obesity, disfigurement or simply being horribly unkempt. And to be fair, it's not really a matter of "ugly" as much as it is just... "abnormal-looking."

But yeah, as for guys, it's easy for a really attractive guy to take your breath away. Or just the right guy :love:
