Not only Figo's though. But yeah, I find it quite annoying how people are so proud of having fog lights that they have to show the world.

I hate when people have fog lights on when there isn"t any fog...

The front fogs I can understand but the rear fogs is totally unacceptable except in bad weather.

Front fogs are OK as they aren't distracting but it's incredible how many people also drive with these on and only their parking lights to supplement it.

This is a pet hate of mine as well. The newer Polo's are also common culprits. On the vw's I see, I think it is because the driver wants the front fogs on and pulls the switch out too far. One click for front fogs and two for back. There is however a light in the dash that illuminates only once the rear fogs are activated.

Wannabee Beemers

No, actually the beemer driver don't want to switch on their lights, afraid it will chow up more petrol, trying to save money for the installment. Figo people know they got good mileage on their cars and low installments.

Figo driver = minding his own bussiness
Beemer driver = minding everyone else business

The thing with that I don't understand is that in most cars you need to specially enable it to be on with parks only which tells me they are doing it on purpose.

Why do we even have parking lights on cars these days? What's the point?

I can only thing these people are retarded enough to think they are saving petrol or something.

What I hate more are people with daytime running lights in cars where the rears don't go on with them and then use them after the sun has gone down.

And try to illustrate this to people with hand gestures. It's impossible.

Every day I see more and more evidence that "auto" lighting needs to become standard across all car ranges.

Yes, on the Fogi you need to pull the light switch out after switching it on... Makes no sense why they doing it :D

I drive a Figo and make sure to try to get in front of these aholes and put mine on. But its mostly the luxury german sedans (BMWs and Audi - I'll probably post a list on the Bad driving thread later) which has very bright rear fog lights, then the Figo/old fiesta drivers.

I have a Fiesta, never use rear fogs, but I do use the front fogs (pothole lights)

1. In the Figo you cant, and most are the ones don't have front fog lights anyway (ambiente)

2. Its the manufacturers fault, take it up with them that no rear lights come one when the DRLs come on.
