Ford Sync 3 gets support for Waze

Ford has announced support for Waze in its in-vehicle infotainment systems via the AppLink feature of cars equipped with Sync 3.

This will let users run Waze on their iPhone, project it to the car’s screen, and control it using voice commands, the vehicle manufacturer said.

Waze is Google and uses Google maps which are the best and most accurate I've seen.

Waze is the best imo and I use it constantly. Never had any issues in the last +-4years.

except for the fact its uses google maps, its crowd sourced you can update details within the maps yourself.

Waze is Google and uses Google maps which are the best and most accurate I've seen.

It may use Google maps data, but rendering on the screen sucks. These "Google maps" look ugly. Some streets and other items are to large obscuring details and I also experience constant jumps while operating, destroying my current view (even if stationary).
