Ok, I see.... so if I want to study as in do a course in medicine, I go to a country with notoriuosly bad doctors.

Edit: What I mean is that I find it ironic that South Africa offers "community development" courses, we should rather be sending students overseas to lean about community development.

AFAIK when I studied there the SASCO mob beat up a law professor; and a LAN was robbed of all the computers - in broad daylight.

There were some seriously dodge people that went there...

Just google Community Development and stop asking silly questions. And no, you can probably study what you want wherever you want. Why do you live in South Africa when you could live in Europe? Why do you read this thread when you could be reading something on Popular Mechanics? Why why why?

And btw, many medical doctors choose to study medicine in Africa - at least for practical experience. Mainly because they are interested in International Development. It's a choice they make that isn't so doff when you think about it.

No you go to a country where you will see shyte on a daily basis you won't see that often in a cushy environment. Lots of foreign doctors would love to work in some of our hospitals simply for experience and learning.

If I want to get experience doing something and learning, I stay in the place where I have no chance from learning through experience right? Or maybe, just maybe, I go to a place where the problem exists so that I can learn about it.

A fair amount already do. A lot of doctors come here to learn about HIV (our research is cutting edge), or just to learn how to deal with things like gunshot and stab wounds.

It's amazing how quickly threads go downhill on MyBB. Nobody takes trolling seriously anymore. Not a good sign. Thing is, it's so easy to go find something else to do, but being a wise-*55 is too tempting for some.

I dislike intel8080 as much as 64-bit operations do but he was being sarcastic because he was recently called out for posting too many negative articles.
