Complain that people are getting away with corruption, when they are arrested we moan too little too late and move goalposts?

Would you apply this "ex principle" on ex President Zuma and the ex ministers who stole from us? Focus on the ones currently in government and let Zuma and his gang of thieves off the hook? Looks like a swaak excuse for not wanting to give credit where it's due.
My goalposts and that of most is the politicians that facilitated it all and got the benefit. We all know those guys will not spend time in prison. They already have the fall guys lined up like here.

Yes ANC government, isn't the HAWKS, SARS, AFU etc government institutions? The ones people were complaining were failing to act against crime?
Closing the stable door after the ANC's Chancellor House horse has bolted.
Thank you ANC, thank you.

And where were all of these wonderful institutions during the Mbeki and Zuma years? All the work was done by investigative reporters and handed over on a plate to the authorities to enable them to make the arrests.

They are here now doing their job, meaning Ramaphosa is a much better President than Mbeki and Zuma, right?

Former Eskom head honchos Abram Masango and France Hlakudi have been arrested on charges of fraud, corruption and other alleged offences. The charges partly stem from alleged kickbacks of more than R30-million that Tubular Construction CEO Tony Trindade and the company’s former chairperson, Mike Lomas, funneled to Masango and Hlakudi. This was in relation to a R1.2-billion contract the construction company had clinched for work at Eskom’s problem-ridden Kusile power station project. Trindade and Lomas will also be charged over the matter. This is NPA’s first major strike at allegedly corrupt senior Eskom officials and their private sector enablers.

From Daily Maverick
So have Tony Trindale and Mike Lomas been arrested yet for bribery? Just saying.

That is why we are praising this ANC administration for acting.

Yes, that's Trindade and Tobago right there.

"And two other men" - OK, so they were less concerned with naming the privateers. I say name and shame the lot. I don't want to do business with anyone who steals from the country, period - public servant or not, .

Not failing to act against crime. Failing to act against crimes by certain individuals. Individuals who are still being protected by institutions like the public protector. It's taking far too long even with all of the information given to them by 3rd parties.

Those two set such a low standard that almost anyone else would be better. I will credit Ramaphosa with realizing that SNAFU can't continue to be the status quo. He can see further than his nose, which is not the case for most of the oxygen thieves making up the ANC.

EDIT: To a large extent, all of the commissions and investigations are as a result of uproar and outrage at the scale of corruption as published and documented by investigative journalists.
