He is also accused number one in the R745m Eskom Kusile corruption case. He is accused of receiving millions from Eskom sub-contractors during the time when he was Kusile power station senior manager of capital contracts, before his resignation on November 13, 2017.

Extradition efforts commence for Eskom contractor as British Courts issues hefty bail

A former Eskom contractor has been granted a hefty bail fee of over R1.7m and has paid R4.3m more as surety at the Westminister Magistrate’s Court in the UK.

“In line with the UK extradition court processes, he needs to appear in the British courts, and only after the matter has been ventilated there, will the court decide whether or not to extradite him back into South Africa,” said Seboka.
