Is Fortinet a box drop product?

In other words, is it a product that can be bought online and configured by the user like Netgear or Linksys one buys at Incredible Connection?

I'm thinking of an online reseller - so consumer products like Linksys, Belkin, Netgear and Fortinet?
Or are there already way too many resellers for it to be viable?

I would say no..not at the moment.
Their interface is not bad..but you do need to know what you are doing. You can't just plug it in...tick a few boxes and get it working. I will pm you though..

The initial setup can only be done through CLI (Might have changed now, not sure) but once IP's setup you will be able to connect to web interface. It does take some getting used to, not the same as the normal ADSL routers. I can send you a link and username and password to log into one over the net if you want o check one out... let me know, then I will pm you details

If you do branch out into something like that, another alternate would be the 'Watchguard' brand of Firewalls / VPN gateways (very similar to this product). Not many resellers / support companies in SA who deal with these
