Forum Upgrade

Weird.

My netbook (at home) is working correctly when clicking the "Today's Posts" link, but my PC at work doesn't.

Otherwise everything is fine here.

Top button also doesn't work.

Will log in under a new account on my PC and check if it's something to do with the firewall cache and stuff like that.

The security token is missing error when sending messages is irritating the crap out of me

Is that where the forum claims the security token has expired? I haven't seen that error since the upgrade.

Can you please tell us more - not certain what you are referring to.

When replying to PM's and using the quick reply box, I get directed to a page which displays an error message "A security token is missing, message could not be sent"
So I have to go back and start from scratch, and use the advanced editor to avoid getting this error message.

Using Firefox 3.6 on Windows 7 ultimate x64

Oh, and I have cleared my cache in the last few days between sending PM's and it didn't fix the error.
Have experienced this error since the forum upgrade.

Thought everyone was experiencing this error...

Hi Wikus

Can you please use a different browser and check whether the same message still appears?

If it solves the problem, please try to refresh the reply page (Ctrl F5 should do the trick).

Thanks, looks like a forced refresh solved whatever was wrong

The forums on the home page have not been updating since 2 days ago for me. Shows that all the latest posts were made on the 15/03/2010. When I go into the forums such as PC Hardware then all the new threads are there from today and so on. Except for Off Topic, every single thread in there is from the 15/03/2010 :/

Force a browser refresh.

With Firefox it's CTRL-F5
Clearing the cookies might also help.

As a last resort, try clearing your firewall's proxy cache (should you have a Smoothwall/IPCop installed).

You also might want to try a different browser (Google Chrome etc) and see if that resolves the issue.

Funny things happens with the MyADSL updating/refresh of pages. New posts can be seen but when entering the page only the posts cached on a old page are shown. This happens on all browsers IE, FF, Chrome but not on opera??????????????????

Hi All...

Under SETTINGS in my subscribed threads summary, I still cannot see who posted the last reply...

Screenshot

Any way to enable this again?

There we have it people - conclusive proof of which is the best browser :D.

Now I also have the "Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing" error when I take more than a few minutes to post a reply.

Here's a screenshot of the error.

Hi Wikus

Load the reply page (before you submit the reply) and hit Ctrl F5. This should work...
