Forza 3

I'm stoked about this game... Bring on the end of October! :D Let's home some SA retailers leak their copies a bit earlier.

rofl, hey hey no guys lets relax the p1rac3 speak, :D Cant wait for the game myself! The car designer ALONE was worth Forza 2!

I don't get how you can be PROUD of being a pirate...

Proud? Nope just grateful I can save R600 on a console game and get it for free.

No one has a 100% piracy-free PC, hell I would say at least 80% of people on this board are using a pirated Windows copy. Maybe a grandma and people simply not too clued up about tech yet don't pirate (yet they might even have a mp3 CD given to them by family). But let's be realistic, most people on forums like this who posts against piracy are hypocrites and that's ten times worse than just being a "pirate".

No one has 100% legit software on their PC. Maybe a grandma and people simply not to clued up about tech yet. But let's be realistic, most people on forums like this who posts against piracy are hypocrites and that's ten times worse than just being a "pirate".

thats what I always try say just to be shut down by "non"-pirates

Forget about the piracy vs. non-piracy issue for a bit. By all means pirate it if you want to play it earlier than most people, but if you enjoy it then at least buy the finished product!

If nobody buys, people will start losing interest in developing and then we all lose.

Thank God we have the 1st world to buy then dont we :D

Anyways, FORZA 3!!!!!!

And most people who make statements like that are trying to justify their piracy. Some of us don't find it so hard to use legal software, whether bought proprietary software or free and open source software.

100% agree here.

About Forza 3,everybody says the damage model is so much better than GT5's but when i was playing the demo,I tried for about ten minutes to smash my car but nothing happened except the paint got scratched and the fins came off,I even drove 160mph in reverse and had a head on collision with a car going the opposite direction,is it just like this in the demo or is it the same damage model as in the final version

Not sure moose007 would like to know too, Forza 2's damage model was pretty bad ass!

yeah because i was really dissapointed with the damage model, the games awesome but the windscreen doesnt even crack when you roll 3 times at 100mph straight into a mountain

The damage model will be the same as the demo. This is a driving simulator, not a Burnout-style crashfest. The car manufacturers set a maximum level of damage that they are willing to see their products reflect - the big one, if I recall correctly from one of the Turn10 staffers posting on the official site, is that the wheelbase cannot be affected by a crash.

If you want pretty sucky physics and pretty crashes go buy NFS: Shift. :p

Don't GRID and the new Dirt 2 have the best damage model? But yeah I agree with others that why would you want hectic damage models in a game like Forza. I hardly have any crashes in this game and the fun of it is just driving, not bumping into other cars and going 300km/h into a wall for fun to see your damage. That's kiddie ****.
