Just wanted to share this story of mine since others may also have been through it.
I decided to defrag my laptop drive after over a year. While defragging I noticed a large number of movies in the fraps movie folder. Having never actually used the fraps video capture option, I curiously go to the folder and find over 80Gb of fraps movies! All from Skyrim and Mass Effect 3. Realized that the fraps video capture key is the same as the quickload key in those games. F9.... This is on a 300Gb hard drive too.

Yes, Fraps does not really tell you whether u recording or not, unless u specify it in the settings. A bit dof.
