Introducing Arubacloud.

Arubacloud is an Italian ISP / host / cloud provider thats been around since 1994. They're one of the bigger players in Europe and probably the biggest in Italy.

All VM's are powered by VMWare and they've got DC's in France, Italy, Czech Republic, Germany and the United Kingdom.

They provide a lot of bang for buck on their smallest plan:

1 core - Intel Xeon E5-2650L v3
1 GB RAM
20 GB SSD STORAGE
2 TB bandwidth transfer monthly

All this for only 1EU a month. It's a steal - especially in the pricier locations like Czech Republic, Italy and the UK. You won't be able to beat the price.

They use VMWare, not OpenVZ. Hence you have your own kernel.

So it's up to you to allow those options or not... Not for the host to set them.

Also you should be able to ask them to remove VAT as we're outside of the EU.

Hence it would be even cheaper. If anyone gets that right be sure to comment back ;)
