Yes I managed to get Google for Domains working.And modifying the MX records on my free hosting service... Works great now!
Please list details as I'm experiencing similar issues with 000webhost.com
1. Visit http://www.google.com/a/cpanel/domain/new and signup for an account.
2. Setup your domain and email addresses.
3. Change your MX settings on your hosting server to point to the google MX servers.
