Free Vodacom data for ShowMax subscribers

ShowMax will provide subscribers with free Vodacom data for three months – 3GB in total – if they sign up for the service through Vodacom.

Just one 1gig per 30days for 3 months? So I made a few calculations, help me if I'm wrong
35 ep / 3 = 11.7 ep per month = 1024mb?
What is the quality? on pc? on phone or tablet?
I know 1gb/month won't last if I use the trial.
