Are you perhaps running a sim farm? THIS is the reason Vodacom stopped it in the first place. I didn't even manage 10GB in 5 months. Went a little crazy yesterday though and downloaded 120MB that was in the backlog. It's the abusers that brought the lost gigs to Vodacom's attention in the first place. If it wasn't for you people it would have been more cost effective for Vodacom to leave it in place than to set up a new system to stop it.
It's still not stealing since Vodacom knows about it and allowed it in the first place. That doesn't mean you can go mad because they rip you off. It will come back and shoot you and everyone else in the foot when they suddenly cut it off.
Don't think you can. You can download large files with YF however.There was this service offered on the forum where you let the server download the file for you and then you could download it later at full speed but he "allegedly" ripped some people off. Would have worked well lining up a few torrents and then downloading them on hsdpa.

I found out by a friend that works for vodacom data dept he told me that when vodacom's internet payment resruction is back online for data they will take off the data of your data bundle what a person was using while they were offline. prepaid & top up customers account will be deducted from there account ballance.So this is a friendly reminder not to abuse the "free internet"this is not free

Don't want to get into a moral debate but ask yourself this question;
If a shopkeeper pops out but leave the shop door open and you walk in, do you now have the right to take the merchandise without paying?
Does the fact that he did not secure his shop make the theft of his goods legal?

Well then the shop keeper must be dumb! You can think of this vlive as a shop dude. Vida is a huge company. And they make the biggest mistakes. Looks like voda doesnt know how to fix this hey? Get some ppl from england to fix the **** you guys made.

We've always known exactly how to 'fix' this, but it's going to involve some discomfort for the legit users. For this reason we decided in the past not to do it, but unfortunately abusers like yourself are going to force the issue.
