Hi there

This is probably a very blonde question...

I am currently using the vodamail pre-paid data bundle. ( Was on contract but converted to prepaid)

I also therefore, have a free vodamail email address. Now this is my main email contact address and it is such a hassle to change.

Should I port my number, and/or take out a data contract with someone other than vodamail, would I lose the usage of my free email addie?

Gmail Gmail Gmail Gmail Gmail Gmail Gmail Gmail Gmail

even better Google Apps with your own domain, and its free...

If you really want to keep your vodamail address (it is NOT a hassle to change, just set up an auto-reply to all contacts to inform them of your new address!) keep your prep-aid sim and just add a few Rands and send an SMS from it to yourself every now and then. Gmail is the answer though

Only thing I don't like about Gmail is all the user names are taKen :/

Hi , what you can do is :

Get another Vodacom number (prepaid) and then register the number for email. Then log on to your existing Vodamail account and delete the alias , then imediatley register the alias with the new number.

There after you can do the port , else you will lose the account.

Hope this helps.

IMO, there would be less hassles if Vodamail addresses were not linked to cell numbers.

Gmail FTW!
