started today. some boring matches but it was the first day so here's hoping tomorrow brings some exciting matches.

serena williams out in round 1 to an unseeded player.

I'm only really going to watch from next week. That's when it really starts. I am watching a bit of the Federer match now though but he's form looks a bit miff. I hope he picks it up.

Same here.

Can't see Fed winning.
Novak might not be able to beat Nadal either.

Watching Nadal on clay is the most boring thing in tennis.

Lol, true.

Also, Novak's form has dipped in the last while. He hasn't smashed his rackets for more than a year but lately he has done it a bit. He seems to be losing his cool. That is something that he didn't do when he was winning everything. Are the times changing? How long can Novak hang onto his number one ranking?

I for one cannot stand Nadal, so I hope Novak wins it (or anyone else for that matter).

Did you watch that match? I felt sorry for Razzano, she had cramp & twice during a point for made a sound as the pain kicked in and she was penalised. Serena played terribly though!

yes i watched it smurf. razzano fought tooth and nail for this one not giving serena williams anything. she did clutch her thigh twice at one point during the tie break. but that tie break went on forever. i don't think serena played terribly, she was just outplayed on the day............too bad.

I only caught the third set and from what i saw Serena pretty much gave Razzano the match with all those unforced errors. Razano then got stage fright when it was time to close off the match. Serena let the second set tie break get to her and lost concentration. I was sad to see her go. But I love that she fought in the end!

I'm rooting for Tsonga in this one. Don't like Djoko's dominance of the game in recent times.

The French crowd are the worst. Disgusting. They don't appreciate the good tennis on offer. They're just interested in their men winning.
