True, Both Fed and Novak looked dead and buried in a couple of their matches, and they just never quit.


Didn't that guy who stabbed Monica Seles get out of jail recently?
 
funny how you okes all dont dig nadal. i never used to like him, and was always for roger. I still am for roger, but when roger is out I will ALWAYS shout for nadal.

novak is a damn good tennis player, but he is a complete tool. his bad attitude pisses me off and after touring under his mother's skirt, and the rude comments that came from his box I find it hard to support someone like that.

same as Thomas Berdych. he is a child, a brat. after he claimed that ball was UP when Roger played him in Rome.... pathetic really... Just like Serena... plenty of skill (ok power coz she is half man) but the most rude, abusive and unsportsman like player ever.

There is a reason people dont shout for the person with the most skill... its the package that counts. tennis is a gentlemans game still I believe.

Not sure where you got that idea from. Novak is one of the nicest guys around.
 
ferrer missed a sitter on break point and now nadal has 8 points in a row...

Ferrer tried to be overly aggressive and ended up hitting all his shots over the baseline. He practically gave that game to Nadal. It was a bad game and it was a love game. Seems it's happening again. Terrible.
 
Just looking at the first set I reckon the rest of the match is pretty much going to be a one-sided affair.

I think Ferrer's biggest problem is that he doesn't believe he can beat Nadal. He even said in a earlier press statement that it was almost impossible to beat Nadal on clay. I'm sorry but you should never say stuff like that to the press. Saying such things puts you at a psychological disadvantage and clearly shows your opponent that you're not feeling confident about your chances and they will exploit that.

Difficult to beat, sure, but not impossible.

Absolutely agree. The reason Novak is number 1 is because he believes he can beat anyone, even if he is losing.

It's so terrible, though, because this is a semi final and as such, should be tightly contested.
 
Djokovic FTW, but a little worried, he had some tough matches recently, if this goes to 5 sets and he makes it, he might not be able to take on Nadal whos hasnt dropped a set in the competition thus far.

I would disagree, because the same thing happened last year and he still won. His fitness is unbelievable.
 
Indeed. Federer just broke. Leads 2-0, second set. Djokovic took first set 6-4.
