They are burning government infrastructure to voice their anger over high fuel prices

That IS biting your nose to spite your face,don't you think?

And also does rioting(destroying propertyand fighting law inforcement) benefit everyone because they are rioting against high fuel prices?

to compare it, the french would have to go destroy all their fuel reserves in protest of high fuel prices...

IF I understand you correctly, are you implying that saffers destroy all infrastructure when they protest?

using the word "all" was a figure of speech too, dont get too hung up about it. it happens here on a regular basis, if it carries on it will be "all"

but to explain again, here they protest about not enough school space by burning down schools, or not enough medical care by burning down a clinics. not enough public transport by burning busses or trains.

do you not see the difference.

There is a difference between sensible reasons and sensible actions

There is not much difference between this protest and SA service delivery protests,they both have sensible reasons but in action they act against their own interest

Do you disagree with that?

Paris police say 133 people have been injured and 412 have been arrested during France's worst urban riot in years.

Paris riots: Macron to hold emergency meeting after worst unrest in decade

The French president, Emmanuel Macron, will hold an emergency meeting of senior ministers on Sunday after central Paris saw its worst unrest in a decade on Saturday. Thousands of masked protesters fought running battles with police, set fire to cars, banks and houses and burned makeshift barricades on the edges of demonstrations against fuel tax rises.
On Sunday morning, Paris authorities hired extra trucks to begin removing the carcasses of burnt cars on from the scorched pavements of some of Paris’s most expensive streets, amid graffiti calling for Macron to resign.
Piles of teargas canisters littered broken pavements in front of rows of shattered shopfronts and smashed windows, as TV channels showed non-stop footage of central Paris in flames during Saturday’s events..
The government spokesman Benjamin Griveaux did not rule out imposing a state of emergency – which two police unions have called for. The president, prime minister and interior minister said they would discuss all available options.

i still dont see them burning down petrol stations and fuel depos or oil refineries in protest of fuel.

They are protesting Macrons reforms, but dont expect MSM to report that....

and starting to protest just the EU in general with the protest growing in number and crossing into other countries even

MSM is keeping the whole "fuel price" line going though, facts don't matter.

The French government will suspend a fuel tax rise which has led to weeks of violent protests, the PM has said.

Edouard Philippe told ruling party MPs he would present "gestures of appeasement" in a TV address to prevent the situation from deteriorating.

The protests have hit major French cities, causing considerable damage for the past three weekends.

The "gilets jaunes" (yellow vests) protests have now grown to reflect more widespread anger at the government.

Three people have died since the unrest began and the resulting violence and vandalism - notably when statues were smashed at the Arc de Triomphe last Saturday - have been widely condemned.

"Yellow vests" are so called because they have taken to the streets wearing the high-visibility yellow clothing that is required to be carried in every vehicle by French law.

The movement has grown via social media and has supporters across the political spectrum.
