Fresh incompetence peak

Well at least the banana republic offers plenty of amusement

It was amusing. I had a similar situation with my late mother- in - law. I recieved an account/demand for her and I just wrote to them providing a copy of the death certificate and the matter was sorted.

The guy in Holland did seem to have a bit of a chip on his shoulder. Maybe I am uninformed but it would be a little unreasonable to expect SATV or whoever to check through the death records every time they are looking for overdue monies. I have helped wind up a few estates and it is common practice for the estate to advise all the creditors(is it not).

That made my day....

luverly...
Esp since I'm going to have to deal with SABC sometime soon in this regard.

Toffee : Creditors, yes.... but a service provider, not necessarily.

Best to stick to 4 letter words when communicating with them. Words like "celestial" has waaay to many letters.

Seeing as nobody can even remotely prove or even suggest where either heaven, hell or their religious [-]competitors[/-] counterparts are, the SABC have every right to assume that regardless of her location, Mrs Bergmann might be glued to the latest episodes of Generations and Jika Majika on Mzanzi Fo Sho.

And if Belinda Carlisle is correct, then we are all living in heaven already and I see no reason why the dead are afforded such luxuries as free episodes of Yilungelo Lakho or watching the best football in town: Sundowns vs Pirates!

I find the attitude of the entire Bergmann family quite deplorable! Their lack of empathy for Van de Venter, Mojapelo Inc. and SABC sounds remarkably racist as well, and I suggest that this Andrew fellow be taking to the highest court following his extradition back to [-]hell[/-] [-]heaven[/-] South Africa.

Why are you blabbering about religion? What had that to do with SABC?

Belinda Carlisle? Ummmm the Britney Spears of the mid 80s?

The guy in question was being sarcastic (he should have just said, that his mother passed away or died) instead of providing a made
up Celestial Abode address. Not everyone uses English as their first language. Just try to joke with the TSA at any US Airport about
carrying a bomb and see what happens to you.

*sigh* sometimes it feels like you, the customer, should be getting paid for holding other peoples hands and basically doing their entire job for them =P

Oh ok, so the guy was sarcastic BUT, the person contacting him should have had enough knowledge and a basic understanding of English language.

Would you want to tell your doctor which side of your body your heart is located or should he know?

I much prefer his technique of dealing with incompetence. And I think if you read the article properly this time you might see the references to death, heaven, hell and a celestial abode - hence the very sarcastic post of mine. Have you misplaced your sense of humour today?

:) lol

This guy has too much patience. My hat off to him.

I find fighting a bit of a useless exercises sometimes although it is fun when you use sarcasm and they don't pick it up but even asking for a persons name can be a mission.

To quote a book I once read:

Person: How do you know he wrote the letter?
Person2: I'd recognize that bad spelling anywhere!
Person: Some words are hard to spell.
Person2: A five letter word?
Person: Maybe he was having a bad day?
Person2: His Name!!

That has to be the funniest thing I have read all week thanks for the laugh, what a bunch of monkey's..... no no wait I think monkey's would have gotten it right the first time
