Fridge Recommendations

Hey Guys

Looking for a double door fridge recommendation, any brand or fridge you guys can recommend ? generally better to go with a fridge that has 1 side fridge other side freezer or rather one that has the bottom part a freezer ?

Bosch. Whichever you prefer, side by side, or combination or two separate units (Inox).

If you get Frost Free / No Frost make sure you have it on an inverter for those long hours of no loadshedding.

If you get a Defy after all the suggestions, delete your account.

We've got a massive Bosch over and under. Uses less juice than an incandescent lightbulb.

Apart from the tides shifting when we open the door it's a nice fridge...

I bought a Bosch about a year and a half ago, it barely even notices loadshedding.

That's the one I have. It's a beast.

13,000. Available towards end of December. This is literally a beast. Many double door fridge/freezer do not have this capability at this size.

Though the double doors look big from outside, from inside they have very little space. Top Freeze bottom Freezer. More than enough for a small family of 4. I still have space left after weekend fruit and veg shopping

Interesting thought samsung was the best but will check out some of the bosch options. Don't worry I don't rely on defy

Before having Bosch, I had a Samsung 420 litre which I used for 11 years

Bosch or Siemens.

Needed to replace my sammy few months back. Settles for a side by side Siemens since bosch didn’t have a plumbed in ice and water dispenser.

Siemens and bosch are from same company. My advice is to find one if your budget. Can’t go wrong with it!
