Photos of fibre cable destruction that caused major outage

Two double cable breaks on Frogfoot’s fibre network caused major connectivity problems for Eastern Cape coastal cities and towns during November.

Speaking to MyBroadband about the incidents, Frogfoot sales and marketing head Shane Chorley explained that they do have redundant cables and routes in place.

must start an awareness campaign to teach thieves fibre cables has no resell value. Put up marker/sign “this is a fibre cable it’s worthless don’t steal not scrap metal “ Lol

@Jan you need to find out why they so much regular maintenance. It's literally every single week without fail. Their service is bad. Check the forums for those complaints in PLZ alone, as well as other towns and cities.

It's been so bad in PE that our neighborhood telegram group renamed them Vrot Voet. This was well before the November "troubles".

Maybe someone on PLZ does not like Frogfoot? You know, like taxi wars?
