Frogfoot Thread

My last drop was at around 8:07pm last night. It took them a week and lots of noise from us, so let's hope that really is the end of it.
Glad for you, me on the other hand is still awaiting response from Frogfoot regarding my download speed issue. Only eleven days now.

Drops happening again. Wasn't even 24hrs.

I can't even do a thing on the fibre. So have to use my phone for this :(

Was fine for over 24hrs, started acting up again now...

Yeah it started on my side around 14:30. Getting a massive 3mbps on my gigabit line and a ping of 50ms

its "mostly" been fine over the weekend. then gets REALLY bad for like an hour then not too bad rest of the time. the times it got bad didnt even corelate to netflix hour which was strange.

and i log into work now... and it drops... joy to the internets

so the other people having issues. also axxess+frogfoot? (im trying to figure out if its time to bail)

i can assure you thats not the problem.
50% loss to your router... Check the LAN cable or try another router. That should be 0%

its the DDOS protection kicking in that stops too many pings onto the router (not too sure how it would be effective since the line to the router would be saturated.. but its an option. so i turned it on. makes no difference to the final result of the timeouts on the internet tho - tried many times.

No, I’m with RSAWEB and FF. Only difference is access replies to your emails, I haven’t heard back from FF since the 31 October

FF and RSAWeb here, RSAWeb spend most of their support time on WhatsApp trying to proof that it's not their fault. Spend an hour or so on WhatsApp with support and the person basically spend the whole time questioning the stats im sending him and not really in the mood to log a call (since their online ticket system was not working because of "too many tickets being logged").

I didn’t even get to the WhatsApp stage and I’ve been pestering them for answers since 31 October. Even if this is a FF fault I’m going to move to another ISP because rsa support has been absolutely incredibly terrible.

so far today seems better.. but STILL NOT RESOLVED

(the black line is between 1 and 9ms, it just looks bad cause its quite "stable" < 9 ms - so when its not timing out.. its pretty decent)

guys on RSA can we maybe compare times when it goes off?

same issues since 18th, getting less than half of the speed we are paying for. On a symmetric fibre account.

thats unfair... you got 1 less than me :( but the other 2 match...

According to Afrihost support today, if you get asymmetric speeds on their symmetric Frogfoot Fibre its perfect.
