FTP Transfer problem

My PC stopped being able to transfer via FTP. I can still do it with my laptop which eliminates my internet connection as the culprit. When I try to do FTP transfers it just hangs. I can access the sites and folders, just can't transfer.

Any ideas?

Perhaps try Filezilla or a similar program.

I am trying it with Filezilla and FireFTP. The strange thing is that it was working and just suddenly stopped

Surely there is some kind of error message or error log? What happens when you try to do a transfer?

Firewall or Antivirus could be the cause.
