If enough people register their interest then we can also get our driveways to be dug up. Telkom through their great social media team and a very nice young man in their call centre told me adsl ports will only be available earliest 2016.

The tall trees in the area make line of sight unlikely.

That makes fibre our only option in the area so guys please sign up.

I tried to register as a zone champion but the page timed out. I think you need permission to use company logos.

We have DFA all around our neighbourhood (Florida Hills and Floracliffe) in william nicol and ontdekkes rd - just looking for a company willing to do the last mile into the neighbourhood and connect to DFA etc. MTN is also here but they are a little more restrictive.

What do you mean more restrictive?

I actually wouldn't complain if they were a little more expensive.

Prefer open-access networks, on MTN its only MTN and no other choice.

Nope it doesn't look good. Telkom ADSL has been terrible lately! Still need like 800 signups for Fiber...don't suppose there are 800 people here who live in Florida Hills right
