Hey Guys,

Just wanted to find out from those of you who have had the installation done already. We are scheduled on Monday to have the guys from Huawei come out and "install" I presume. However our current copper lines run through about 3 "bends" in the piping to the box outside.

I know with Fibre being glass and all that this is not really possible to take 90deg joins like copper could however this route already goes into our study and is a pretty easy installation otherwise. I wanted to see from other guys who have had the same type of installation what was the process around that? Did they come with a team ready to do this digging? Did they still manage to run it through those pipes somehow or did they reschedule to dig a new trench for the fibre?

Not worried about either outcome just want to know what to expect as I didnt ask them this when they called to book.

Thanks guys.

The fibre might still be able to go around the 90 degree bends if they aren't too tight.

They defiantly are not small diameter ones either, thankfully they were put in pretty decently when we built the house. Thanks man will def update on Monday too.

They normally use PVC pipe with corners like

Fibre is very flexible.

Yep. They tie the fibre to the copper and pull it, replacing the copper with fibre.
