FU telkom

taking a walk around the neighborhood with a semi-automatic picking off geeks could be more satisfying than any FPS, and may better the situation too
 
been like that here in Alberton for about four weeks now as well. It sucks during the day and only improves late at night.
 
What does "reduced the backhaul" mean?
I applied for a 10mbps line but Telkom gave me a 6mbps line. My line stats are good enough for ADSL2+ though. Apparently my exchange doesn't support 10mbps but I know a few people connected to the same exchange with 10mbps.
Are these issues related in any way?
 
be thankful you actaully get to use a telkom line rofl, i live on a plot a d guys have stolen the telephone cables so many times that telkom refuses to put more up = a semi covered vodacom network.....

Believe me, I feel like this as well. We are having the same issues in Orkney and I can no longer download or game at all. During the day in the week it's even worse and just receiving an email with no attachments takes 10 minutes or longer. I use a lot of data daily for my work and going the 3g way is going to hurt my income. I am utterly disgusted with Telkom.
 
Me too, sent one this morning. Got receipt but that it's. Telkom tells me they are busy working at the exchange to solve the problem right now - funny as there is nobody there.
 
Been like that for a while, I can't play WOW nor can I play on local servers. The exchange is ****e and it was not always like that.

got a call from Pinky's office yesterday

long story short?

they know there is a problem, but it will take time to sign off the upgrade. no ETA

and feedback from my other sauce now

The bandwidth is available, we are awaiting approval to have it increased on the affected racks.
