fx 5500 problems please help

Hi


one of my clients bought fx5500 from us and now there is a problem

when he pops the card into the computer it will not go into windows it just keeps restarting but as soon as he takes the card out it works perfectly


any one have any kind of idea what the problem could be

Where does it restart? Does it start in VGA mode?

as windows is loading on the start up screen the black one

Probably a driver problem, try restart in VGA mode, remove the old drivers and reboot to install the new ones....

take the card out and boot into safe mode (if you are unable to boot in to vga mode like conradl said) then uninstall the old or onboard gpu's driver. Shutdown the pc and insert the new card. It should boot into windows now.

Will get the customer to try and see if that works if it does not then I will come back to you guys
