so this makes me wonder ... what are your impressions on those fighting for their "liberation"?? ... do you see them as morally good people or not?

If some one raped a person I loved, I would do something like this to them.

How else do you show a man what it is like to be raped ?

No idea why this dude decided to do this to G-daff but I image we are only just starting to hear how bad his regime was.

I can understand that the stoning comment is probably related to islam ... better not to derail the thread based on another person's misinformed opinion on islam

My interest is more on the throwing acid on your sister's face though ... how does that fit into the picture?

That sodomy law was ruled against in 1994 and then the Con. court affirmed the decision in 2004.

As a side note: I certainly hope you too Apache were against the laws preventing sodomy. After all what right do you have to say what consenting adults can and cannot do sexually. None whatsoever.

Of course it is.

It is an act between consenting adults. I have no right to dictate what other consenting adults do. In turn they have no right to dictate what I do.

Provided an act doesn't infringe on the rights of others who cares.

None of which changes the fact that you were wrong about sodomy being illegal in SA. Making sodomy illegal is unconstitutional.

Oh yea that should definitely be illegal. That is basically rape.

I'm not talking about rape though I'm talking about plain old consensual anal sex or anal insertion of any kind provided it is consensual... you said if you put anything in someone's bum then it is sodomy and that that is illegal in South Africa. You mentioned no special circumstances like "when one or more parties are being forced against their will". So within the context of your response you were wrong. Now I see you've shifted the goalposts. Stop it.

I too was wrong about the modern American legal definition of sodomy. I know in the past sodomy referred to all anal insertion but modern times at least it seems to have been changed to mean specifically non-consensual anal insertion. See, admitting you were wrong is easy. Now you try.
