Galaxy A31, WiFi issue

Hi All,

I recently installed a TP-LINK Deco S4 Mesh wifi system.

All our iPhones are working fine on the wifi, but my mom-in-law's Galaxy A31 connects to the wifi fine and can access the Internet via chrome or the Samsung Web browser on her phone, but no apps are able to access the Internet.

Any solutions?

So far I've rebooted her phone, re-connected to the wifi and updated her phone.

Router may be on wrong frequency region. Check that it is in the correct region, or force the wifi to a single channel like 1 or 2

Read on TP-links support forum that wifi channels cannot be changed on a mesh system, it is selected automatically.

I have no issues with any other devices, phones, laptop and smart home devices etc.

Which leads me too believe it's an issue on the phone?

On the phone. Some apps need permission added to access internet.

whats wrong with lineage or any of the other Roms available ?
also you'd get updates, as long as you stick to stable builds, no problem maybe even faster.
